Historical Macroeconomics, Finance, and Banking: Explaining Poland’s Great Depression

I am a Lecturer in Economics at Cardiff University, having completed my PhD in Economic History at the London School of Economics. My previous posting was at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where I was a Fellow and Director of Studies in Economics.
My research focuses on the spread of the Great Depression throughout Europe and the reasons why the Depression affected certain countries more than others. I am particularly interested in the turbulent economic history of interwar Poland, investigating the link between the multiple financial crises the country suffered and the foreign-policy decisions made by its government.
My CV is available to download here. I am currently in the (slow) process of indexing and digitising the complete publications of the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS). You can download the completed parts of this effort here.
